SUPPLY OF LN2 GAS

On of the objectives of Haryana Livestock Development Board is to replace artificial insemination from chilled semen to frozen semen. Board has ensured the regular supply of LN2 which is essential for the storage of frozen semen.

PROCUREMENT OF LN2 JARS AND OTHER EQUIPMENT FOR BREEDING PURPOSE.

To strengthen artificial insemination through frozen semen all over the Haryana State, the Board has decided to strengthen the breeding infrastructure by procuring various equipments such as Liquid Nitrogen storage and transportation jars as well as small jars for providing A.I. facilities at farmer's doorsteps. Other related equipment such as insemination gun, sheaths and straws for carrying out A.I. as well as freezing of semen have also been procured and supplied to the veterinary institutions for their smooth routine work. Haryana has a good network of Veterinary Institutions, one for every three villages, on an average.
