DAIRY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Under this programme, the Board's mandate is to provide self employment opportunities to the un-employed youth through dairy profession. The department is providing training facilities to the un-employed youth and conducting 21 days' Dairy Training of the Milk Producers so as to create awareness about the Scientific methods and techniques/management in the field. Beneficiaries are being imparted training free of cost at various District Head Quarters about Modern Dairy Technology, Dairy Management, Feeding and Breeding of Milch Animals and production of clean and wholesome milk.

The State Government provides self-employment opportunities to educated un-employed youth of the State through the establishment of the following Dairy units are being established.
